New Baltimore Historical Society
|
Founded in 1976, the New Baltimore Historical Society
continuously strives to meet the following objectives:
- - to preserve all historical aspects of the Anchor Bay area
for future generations;
- - to maintain the Grand Pacific House Museum, originally
built in 1881 for use as a hotel;
- - to offer a selection of workshops for children and adults;
- - to hold monthly meetings which include programs of a
historical nature. The monthly meeting also provides an
opportunity for members to share information, research, and
to socialize with others with similar interests.
An active community organization, the New Baltimore
Historical Society maintains a 200-plus membership.
All members receive a bi-monthly newsletter.
