Bath City Festival
Downtown Mt. Clemens presents its annual Bath City Festival, including many his-
torical displays on August 24 & 25. We will participate with a display table selling gift shop items and distributing membership literature. To help, volunteer to work a two-hour shift on that Friday or Saturday by calling Rich at 725-2770.

Historical Society Picnic

Our annual members picnic will be held on August 16 at 6 PM in the New Baltimore City Park. The menu is potluck. Diners are asked to bring their own beverage (alcohol permitted), place settings, utensils and a dish to pass. We always manage to have a great variety of food. It would be nice to see some new faces this year. Let's hope for nice weather!

Installation Dinner
The Installation Dinner was enjoyed by many at Cedar Glen. The food was excellent. A short memorial was held for Vince Eggert and other members who have passed away. Vince's son Matthew, daughter Alicia and granddaughter Michelle were able to attend.

Officers for the year are: Richard Gonyeau, president;  Dan Stucky, vice-president, Judy Stucky, secretary; Lawrence Marentette, treasurer; Roseline Connors, Shirley Hageman, Barbara Richards, and Robert Mack, directors.

Thank You
A big thanks to Dan Stucky for making new steps in front of our store. We were worried about someone falling on the old crumpled cement one, and Dan came to the rescue. It's really nice and will look even better as the wood ages (unlike the two of us as we age - oh well, that's another story).
